I’m ashamed to say that I almost put something snarky here…am I that cynical?
In the end, this sign does a good job saying vital gospel truths: “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus…” (Rom 3:23-24, ESV) and “God was merciful! We were dead because of our sins, but God loved us so much that he made us alive with Christ, and God’s wonderful kindness is what saves you.” (Eph 2:4, CEV)
There’s a church that’s probably doing what Christ did when he was on the earth. Maybe the sermon title ain’t quite right, but I’ll give them a pass on that.
